Mary Lou’s Crockpot Chicken
Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, (8 to 10 pounds)
Salt and pepper to taste
One 14.5-ounce can chicken broth
2 bay leaves
3 cloves garlic
Directions:
In the morning, clean the chicken and rub the salt and pepper into the outside skin.
Place the chicken in the crockpot on low and cook for 6 to 8 hours. When you return
home in the evening, your meal is ready and waiting! Remove and discard the bay
leaves before serving with roasted potatoes or rice.
